I wanted a retractable to keep in my bag, but this isn't totally retractable. The length of wire on the two ear pieces is asymmetrical, because you're supposed to wrap the non-microphone side around the back of your head. I'm sure this is a more ergonomic design, but it is a total hassle to put these on in a hurry (which is usually what I'm doing). Also, because of this design, a good length of earpiece cord doesn't retract.
Overall, not so good.

this is a nice product while it works, but I would recommend when I buy the next one to tie a small knot at the "jack" end. Multiple springed retractions back into the coil eventually pulls out the wire within the jack so I am left currently with only one earbud's working. If the jack-end is wiggled, then stereo audio returns, but this is annoying.
overall it would be better if they had made the product so that it doesn't fully retract all the way pulling at the jack

I thought this was going to be so awesome and big fail!! It was bad from the moment I opened the package. The earphones came out of the little round pod but wouldn't retract back...plus the ear phones felt like they were made or out the thinnest breakable material! I really thought this would save me from all those tangled in my purse moments. I called amazon and they immediately sent me a return slip via email...that's the one good thing from this experience!
